Gym Near Bahria Town Phase 5
Boxing, weight loss and personal training for Phase 5 residents — from our branches at Phase 7 and Phase 8.
Raees Fitness & Boxing Gym serves Bahria Town Phase 5 from two branches inside Bahria Town: Phase 7 (Wallayat Complex, Emirates Plaza) and Phase 8 (Burj Ul Sadiq, Abu Baker Avenue). Coached karate runs 5:00–6:00 pm, boxing 6:00–7:00 pm and MMA 8:00–9:00 pm, six days a week, with ladies-only hours 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The floor is open 24 hours a day, six days a week, from Rs 4,500 a month.
Phase 5 sits in the middle of Bahria Town, which in practice means both of our branches are a manageable run and neither is a trek. That matters more than it sounds: the gyms people actually keep going to are the ones where the journey is not a decision every evening.
It also means Phase 5 residents are unusually well placed for the class timetable. Karate at five, boxing at six, MMA at eight, six days a week — a fixed schedule is only useful if you can reliably make it, and from Phase 5 most people can.
This page covers the classes, the membership, the ladies-only hours, and what to expect from either branch if you are joining from Phase 5.

What Phase 5 members come for
The classes, more often than not. A fixed timetable is a commitment device: turning up at six because the class starts at six is easier than deciding each evening whether to train. Members who join for the classes are markedly more consistent than members who join for the floor.
The second reason is the ladies-only window. Six hours a day, every day we are open, with a female trainer on the team. From Phase 5 that midday slot is straightforward to reach, which is why a good proportion of our female members come in from this phase.
The third is the coaching itself. Every member gets an induction, and the trainer packages put a coach on the floor with you for the session rather than somewhere in the building. If you have trained for a year without anyone correcting a lift, the difference is immediate.
And the fourth is simply that both branches are open around the clock on six days. Even if you intend to train at six every evening, the week where you cannot is the week the membership proves itself.
Where we are
Two branches, both inside Bahria Town
Neither is in Phase 5 — we are honest about that. Both are covered by one membership at identical rates.

Both branches are inside Bahria Town, so the journey from Phase 5 stays on internal roads either way. Phase 7 is the 2nd floor at Wallayat Complex, Emirates Plaza. Phase 8 is the 1st floor at Burj Ul Sadiq, Plaza No 1, Abu Baker Avenue.
Each map on this page carries the branch’s own Business Profile pin, so turn-by-turn directions end at the entrance. If it is your first visit and you would rather know where to park before you set off, ask on WhatsApp.
Phase 7 or Phase 8 from Phase 5
Both, if you like — one membership, identical rates, the same coaching team and the same class times. Phase 7 is the main branch with the larger floor; Phase 8 is the newer one towards Safari Valley and the Business District.
From Phase 5 the two are close enough in convenience that most members end up choosing on the day rather than for good. That is exactly how the membership is meant to work.

Who trains with us from Phase 5
More than 700 members a week across the two branches, in from every phase of Bahria Town rather than only Phase 7 and Phase 8.
From Phase 5 the class registers are where you see it most. Karate at five is largely younger members; the six o’clock boxing class is a wide mix of ages and starting points, with complete beginners in the majority; MMA at eight skews towards people who already box or already train and want the next thing.
The daytime ladies-only hours are the other strong Phase 5 group — women training while the house is quiet, on the same strength, cardio and weight-loss programmes that run the rest of the day.

Getting the most out of a class timetable
A fixed class is the strongest habit-forming tool a gym has, and most people waste it by treating it as optional. Two or three sessions a week at the same hour, booked in the calendar like a meeting, beats five sessions "when I get a chance" by a distance that is almost embarrassing.
Pick the class that fits your week rather than the one that sounds best. Karate at five suits school-age members and anybody who finishes early. Boxing at six is the busiest and the most beginner-friendly. MMA at eight suits people who cannot get away before half seven, and assumes a little more base fitness.
Train the floor around the class, not instead of it. Two class evenings plus two strength sessions is a genuinely good week, and the strength work is what makes the class work better — a stronger, better-conditioned body holds technique for longer before it falls apart.
And tell the coach what you are aiming at. "I want to be fitter" produces a different programme from "I want to spar by March", and the coach can only aim at the target you name.
Training as a woman in Bahria Town
The practical obstacle is rarely equipment. It is whether there is a time and a space where you can train without an audience, and whether anybody on staff can actually coach you.
The ladies-only window runs 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, six days a week. That is a daily six-hour block, not two classes a week fitted around everybody else, and it is on the main floor with the full equipment rather than in a side room with three machines.
There is a female trainer on the team, and the same programmes are available during those hours: strength, conditioning, weight loss with a nutrition plan, and personal training. Beginners get the same induction everybody else gets.
If you want to know who is coaching on a particular day before you come in, message on WhatsApp and ask. It is a reasonable question and nobody will find it odd.
Kids and teenagers
The karate class at five is where most younger members start. It is coached as a group, on a fixed timetable, and it begins with the same fundamentals everybody else gets rather than putting a beginner straight into anything demanding.
For teenagers, boxing at six is the usual route. Coached properly, it is one of the better things a teenager can do with their evenings: it builds genuine conditioning, it teaches control rather than aggression, and the hierarchy in a boxing gym is based on turning up and working rather than on anything else.
Parents ask about safety, and the honest answer is that the fundamentals stage is long for exactly that reason. Weeks of stance, guard and footwork before anything meaningful, pads before bags, and sparring only when defence holds up and always supervised. Nothing is rushed to keep anybody entertained.
If you want to know whether a particular class suits a particular age, ask on WhatsApp before you come in. It is a better use of everybody’s time than turning up and finding out.
Building a week around the class timetable
A fixed class is the strongest habit tool a gym has, and the week works best when the rest of your training is built around it rather than squeezed beside it.
A good template: two class evenings, two strength sessions on the floor, and one optional conditioning session. The strength work makes the classes better, because technique falls apart when the body running it is weak and unconditioned, and the classes make the strength work feel worth doing.
Put the strength sessions on non-class days if you can. Lifting heavy an hour before a boxing class means doing both badly, and the fatigue carries further than people expect.
One rest day minimum, and the gym is closed on Sunday anyway, which settles that. Training six days a week is not more virtuous than training four; it is only more training, and past a point more training with less recovery produces less progress. A coach will tell you which side of that line your week is on.
Training through Ramadan and the summer
Both come round every year and both wreck routines that were not planned for them. They are worth thinking about before they arrive rather than during.
In Ramadan the usual answer is to move training to shortly before iftar or an hour or two after, and to cut the volume rather than the intensity — fewer sets of the main lifts, kept heavy enough to hold on to what you have built. This is a month to maintain, not to chase records, and treating it that way means you come out the other side intact rather than starting over.
Rawalpindi summers make the second problem. Training in real heat costs you more than it looks like it does, and dehydration blunts performance long before you feel thirsty. The sensible response is water through the whole day rather than during the session, and training at the cooler ends of the day where you can — which is one of the quieter arguments for a floor that never closes.
A coach will adjust the block for both if you say so in advance. Turning up and doing the same programme in forty degrees while fasting is how people end up injured or discouraged.
Bringing somebody with you
Training with somebody you know is the single most reliable predictor of still training in six months — more reliable than goals, programmes or how motivated anybody felt in week one.
The mechanism is unglamorous: on the evening you do not feel like going, somebody is expecting you. That is it. It beats every motivational technique anybody has tried to sell you.
The couple package is Rs 5,500 per person a month, and the group rate is the same for five or more. Both are cheaper than training alone, which makes the arithmetic straightforward as well.
Why the middle of Bahria Town is a good place to train from
Being central has an underrated advantage: you can pick your gym on merit rather than on distance. From the far ends of Bahria Town the nearest option carries a lot of weight in the decision. From Phase 5 it carries much less.
What that tends to mean in practice is that Phase 5 members are choosier and stay longer. They came because they wanted the classes or the coaching, not because it was the only thing within reach, and people who chose deliberately drop out less.

Questions
Gym near Bahria Town Phase 5 — FAQs
- What are the boxing class timings?
- Karate 5:00–6:00 pm, boxing public class 6:00–7:00 pm, MMA public class 8:00–9:00 pm, six days a week. Closed on Sunday. The same times apply at both branches.
- Is there a gym in Bahria Town Phase 5?
- There are local options in and around Phase 5. Our two branches are in Phase 7 and Phase 8, both inside Bahria Town, and a good number of Phase 5 residents train with us — mostly for the evening classes and the ladies-only hours.
- What are the ladies timings?
- 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, six days a week, with a female trainer on the team. The full range of programmes runs during that window.
- How much is membership?
- From Rs 4,500 a month for the strength floor, Rs 6,000 with cardio. Couple and group packages are Rs 5,500 per person a month. Training with a coach is Rs 19,500, or Rs 25,500 with cardio.
- Do I have to commit to a long contract?
- No. Monthly is the standard; three, six and twelve month terms exist and bring the monthly rate down, but nothing obliges you to take one.
- Can I switch between the two branches?
- Yes, freely. One membership covers both at the same rates, and the class timetable is identical.
- Can children join the classes?
- The karate class at 5:00 pm is where most younger members start, and teenagers train in the 6:00 pm boxing class. Ask on WhatsApp about the right class for a particular age before you come in.
- How do the timings work in Ramadan?
- Most members move to shortly before iftar or an hour or two after, and cut volume rather than intensity for the month. Tell a coach in advance and the block gets adjusted rather than abandoned.
If you are in Phase 5, distance is not really your constraint — which means you can choose on what the gym actually does rather than on how far it is.
If that is the classes, the ladies-only hours or having a coach who writes your programme, come and see either branch. The first conversation costs nothing and a coach will be straight with you about what to expect.
If the classes are what interest you, come and watch one first. Turn up ten minutes before five, six or eight, stand at the side, and see whether it looks like something you would keep doing.
