Raees Fitness Center — gym and boxing club in Bahria Town Phase 7

Bahria Town Phase 1–8 · Rawalpindi / Islamabad

Best Gym in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi & Islamabad

Two branches, six coaches, and a floor that does not close. Here is exactly what we run, what it costs and which areas we serve.

Raees Fitness & Boxing Gym is a 24-hour gym and boxing club with two branches inside Bahria Town — Phase 7 (Wallayat Complex, Emirates Plaza) and Phase 8 (Burj Ul Sadiq, Abu Baker Avenue). It serves members across Phase 1 to Phase 8 in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Membership starts at Rs 4,500 a month, the floor is open 24 hours a day six days a week (closed Sunday), ladies-only hours run 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and coached boxing, MMA and karate classes run every evening.

Choosing a gym in Bahria Town is mostly a question of what you actually want from it. If you only want a room with machines, there is one within a few minutes of every phase. If you want somebody to write your programme, correct your lift while you are doing it, and still be there at one in the morning when your shift ends, the list gets a great deal shorter.

Raees Fitness & Boxing Gym runs two branches inside Bahria Town — Phase 7 and Phase 8 — with more than 700 members training across them every week. The floor is open 24 hours a day, six days a week. Six coaches work it, boxing, MMA and karate run to a fixed evening timetable, and the ladies-only window covers the middle of the day. This page covers what is on offer, what it costs, which areas we serve, and how to start.

Areas we serve

From Phase 1 to Phase 8

Members travel in from every phase of Bahria Town. What brings them is usually the coaching, the boxing, or the hours — here is how it looks from each one.

  • Bahria Town Phase 1

    Islamabad Expressway side

Phase 1 sits at the Islamabad end of Bahria Town, so members here are usually commuting in from the Expressway side. The 24-hour floor is what makes it work: you are not tied to a class time, and the drive is done when the roads are empty rather than at six in the evening.

Bahria Town Phase 1 branch page
  • Bahria Town Phase 2

    Phase 2

Phase 2 members mostly train either side of work. Both branches are open around the clock on all six open days, so an early session before the commute and a late one after it are equally possible, on the same membership.

Bahria Town Phase 2 branch page
  • Bahria Town Phase 3

    Phase 3

Phase 3 is within the older, denser part of Bahria Town, where most gyms are small floors above shops. If you want a proper boxing corner with bags, pads and room to spar rather than one bag in a corner, that is the reason to come to us.

Bahria Town Phase 3 branch page
  • Bahria Town Phase 4

    Civic Center

The Civic Center crowd has plenty of big commercial gyms to choose from. What they generally do not have is coached boxing, MMA and karate on a fixed timetable, run by people who have cornered fighters rather than supervised a floor.

Bahria Town Phase 4 branch page
  • Bahria Town Phase 5

    Phase 5

Phase 5 members are well placed for the evening class timetable — karate at 5, boxing at 6, MMA at 8 — and for the ladies-only window during the day, which runs 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, six days a week.

Bahria Town Phase 5 branch page
  • Bahria Town Phase 6

    Phase 6

Phase 6 sits between the older phases and the newer ones, so most members here pick whichever of our two branches is the shorter run on the day. The membership is with the gym, not with one address, so you can use either.

  • Bahria Town Phase 7

Wallayat Complex, Emirates Plaza — our main branch

Our main branch is here: 2nd floor, Wallayat Complex, Emirates Plaza. Full strength floor, cardio zone and the boxing corner, open 24 hours a day, six days a week. If you live in Phase 7 this is a walk or a very short drive.

  • Bahria Town Phase 8

    Safari Valley, Business District

Our second branch is on the 1st floor of Burj Ul Sadiq, Plaza No 1, Abu Baker Avenue — the closest option for Safari Valley and the Business District. Same equipment standard, same coaches, same rates as Phase 7.

Why members choose us

What actually makes the difference

  • Open 24 hours, six days a week

Not "open early and late" — genuinely around the clock, on every open day. Shift workers, students and anyone who trains at odd hours are not fitting themselves around a timetable. We are closed on Sunday.

  • A real boxing corner, not a bag in the corner

Bags, pads and room to spar, with coaching that starts at stance, guard and footwork and only moves on when those hold up under pressure. Boxing, MMA and karate all run as coached classes with their own times.

  • Two branches on one membership

Phase 7 and Phase 8 run the same equipment standard, the same coaching and identical rates. Your membership is with the gym rather than with one address, so you use whichever is the shorter drive that day.

  • Ladies-only hours every day we are open

From 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, six days a week, the floor is reserved for women. It is a fixed daily window rather than a couple of sessions a week.

  • Coaches who compete and corner fighters

The team includes the owner and head coach, a boxing coach who has fought professionally, and four more trainers across the two branches. Every member gets an induction rather than a laminated card.

  • Prices you can check before you walk in

Every package and every registration fee is published on the pricing page. Membership starts at Rs 4,500 a month for the strength floor, and nothing is quoted only at reception.

What you can train

Every programme, and who it is for

Each of these is coached, planned and reviewed — not a room you are left alone in.

Strength training and the free-weight floor

The floor covers free weights, plate-loaded machines and cables, with the space to squat and pull rather than queue for the one rack. Coaches set your technique on the main lifts before the weight gets heavy enough to punish a fault, and the progression is written down so you are adding load on a plan rather than on how you feel that morning. Strength-only membership is Rs 4,500 a month and includes the same 24-hour access as everything else.

Cardio and conditioning

Conditioning is the part most people either skip or overdo. We start by finding where your engine actually is, then build from there: steady-state work to widen your aerobic base, and short high-intensity intervals placed where they will do some good. Every session is scaled, so somebody on their first month and somebody in fight camp can run the same circuit and both finish at the right level of effort. The Cardio + Strength package covers the full floor including the cardio zone at Rs 6,000 a month.

Boxing, MMA and karate

The boxing corner is the reason a lot of members walk through the door. Bags, pads and room to move, coached in the order that actually works: stance, guard and footwork first, combinations after, sparring only when your defence holds up and always supervised. Karate runs 5:00 to 6:00 pm, the boxing public class 6:00 to 7:00 pm and the MMA public class 8:00 to 9:00 pm, six days a week. Beginners are the norm in these classes, not the exception, and plenty of members train for the fitness and the skill without ever sparring.

Personal training

A coach with you for the whole session — planning it, watching every set, changing the weight when your form goes, and answering the questions you would otherwise take home. It suits two kinds of member especially: the complete beginner, who saves months of guessing and a likely injury, and the experienced lifter who has plateaued and cannot see why from the inside. Gym With Trainer is Rs 19,500 a month; Gym + Cardio + Trainer is Rs 25,500.

Weight loss and nutrition

Crash dieting takes muscle along with fat and hands the weight straight back. The version that lasts is slower: resistance work to keep the muscle you have, conditioning placed where it helps, and a calorie and protein target built around food you already buy rather than an imported supplement list. Weight, measurements and lifting numbers are logged at set intervals, so a week where the scale does not move can be seen for what it usually is instead of becoming the week you quit.

Ladies-only training

From 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, six days a week, the floor is reserved for women — a fixed daily window rather than two sessions a week squeezed around everyone else. There is a female trainer on the team, and the same strength, cardio and weight-loss programmes are available during those hours.

The team

Who will be coaching you

Six coaches work across the two branches. Raees Ur Rehman, the owner, is also the head coach and is on the floor himself. Zahoor Abbas coaches boxing and has fought professionally. Anees Ur Rehman and Mazhar Khan train at Phase 7; Muhammad Hamza Khan and Frozan Ahmadzai at Phase 8, where Frozan coaches during the ladies-only hours.

Every member gets an induction with a coach before they train alone — the floor, the equipment, and the technique on the lifts they will actually be doing. That is the part a video cannot do for you, and it is the difference between a productive decade of training and a shoulder that hurts by year two.

Choosing between gyms

How we compare in Bahria Town

Most of the gyms inside Bahria Town fall into two groups. There are the small floors above shops — cheap, close to home, and usually one room of machines with nobody watching. And there are the large commercial gyms, which look excellent, cost a good deal more, and still hand you a membership card rather than a programme.

What is genuinely uncommon in Bahria Town is the combination: a full strength and cardio floor, a real boxing corner with coached classes on a fixed timetable, a daily ladies-only window, coaches who write and supervise programmes, and doors that are open at every hour on six days of the week. That combination, across two branches on one membership, is what this gym is.

It is not the cheapest option in every phase, and it does not pretend to be. Rs 4,500 a month for the strength floor is mid-range for Bahria Town; what you are paying the difference for is the coaching and the hours. If neither of those matters to you, the gym nearest your house will serve you perfectly well, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a year you do not use.

Getting started

How to join, step by step

  1. 1

    Message us or walk in

WhatsApp is the quickest — or call 0343 9542604, or just come to either branch. The floor is open around the clock on all six open days, so there is no wrong hour to look round.

  2. 2

    Free consultation with a coach

Before you pay anything: your training history, your goal, any injuries, and an honest view of what the first twelve weeks look like. If what you want is not something we do well, we will say so.

  3. 3

    Pick the package that fits

Strength floor only, strength plus cardio, a coach with you on the floor, or one of the coached classes. Couple and group rates bring the per-person cost down if you train with somebody.

  4. 4

    Induction, then your first block

A coach walks you through the floor and the equipment, sets your technique on the main lifts, and writes your first weeks of training down so the progression is planned rather than improvised.

Questions

Gym in Bahria Town — frequently asked

Which is the best gym in Bahria Town?
That depends on what you need. For coached boxing, MMA and karate alongside a full strength and cardio floor, Raees Fitness & Boxing Gym is one of the few options inside Bahria Town that offers all of it in one place, at two branches, 24 hours a day on six days a week. For a purely machine-based workout, the choice is much wider — visit a few and look at whether the equipment is maintained and whether a coach is actually on the floor.
Where exactly are your branches in Bahria Town?
Two branches. Phase 7: 2nd Floor, Wallayat Complex, Emirates Plaza, Bahria Town Phase 7, Islamabad. Phase 8: Burj Ul Sadiq, Plaza No 1, 1st Floor, Abu Baker Avenue, Bahria Town Phase 8, Rawalpindi. Both are on the same membership and run the same rates.
How much does gym membership cost in Bahria Town?
At Raees Fitness, the strength floor is Rs 4,500 a month, Rs 12,900 for three months or Rs 24,900 for six. Adding the cardio zone makes it Rs 6,000 a month, Rs 16,500 for three or Rs 33,000 for six. Couple and group packages are Rs 5,500 per person a month. Training with a coach on the floor is Rs 19,500 a month, or Rs 25,500 with cardio included.
Do you have ladies timings?
Yes. The floor is ladies-only from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, six days a week. There is a female trainer on the team. If you want to know who is coaching on a particular day, ask on WhatsApp before you come in.
Is the gym really open 24 hours?
Yes, 24 hours a day on all six open days. We are closed on Sunday. Members train at every hour of the night, and there is a coach on the floor rather than an empty room.
When do the boxing, MMA and karate classes run?
Karate is 5:00 to 6:00 pm, the boxing public class is 6:00 to 7:00 pm, and the MMA public class is 8:00 to 9:00 pm, six days a week. Boxing and MMA public classes are Rs 10,000 a month each with a Rs 20,000 registration fee. A one-to-one personal class is Rs 30,000 a month.
I live in Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 — is it worth the drive?
Members travel in from every phase, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you are driving for. For general floor access, your nearest gym is probably fine. For coached boxing or MMA, for a written and supervised programme, or for a floor that is genuinely open at 2am, the nearest gym usually does not offer it and the drive is the reason people keep making it.
Do I need any experience to start boxing?
None. Beginners start with stance, guard and footwork for several weeks before throwing combinations that matter, and nobody spars until their defence holds up. You do not need your own gloves to begin — try it first and buy kit once you know you are staying.
Can I try before I pay?
Yes. The first consultation with a coach is free, and you are welcome to look round either branch at any hour we are open. Message on WhatsApp to arrange it.
Do you offer diet or weight-loss coaching as well?
Yes. Nutrition guidance is built around the food you already cook — roti, rice, daal, eggs, chicken, yoghurt — with calorie and protein targets for your goal, reviewed monthly. The weight-loss programme combines that with resistance training so the weight that comes off is fat rather than muscle.
